Some love stories begin slowly… ours began with a spark.

Gillian and Waleed met in Paris, and from that very first moment, something just felt different.

To be honest, Gillian couldn’t have pointed Mauritius out on a map if her life depended on it, and Waleed hadn’t stepped foot in the U.S. in over a decade. But fate has a sense of humor — the very next weekend, Waleed just happened to have a conference in Miami, which of course is a short flight from New York City. And just like that, their paths crossed again, this time in a city that would become the backdrop to their love story.

 

From there, everything unfolded effortlessly: endless laughter, countless adventures, and journeys across the world, always side by side. Some might call it chance — but we believe it was written in the stars.

 

On December 17, 2024, their greatest adventure yet began with the arrival of their son, Noah — their little angel, and the most special honorary guest at their wedding.

 

Now, surrounded by family and friends in the place of their dreams, Gillian and Waleed are overjoyed to celebrate not only their love story, but the beautiful life they’re building together.
